LEEP Class: Show Me The Money!

Saturday, September 10, 2022, 12:15-1:15pm

Money play pushes boundaries of safety, identity, and sometimes-even law.  When done improperly, it can lead to ruin, but there is no reason money play cannot also be empowering and rewarding.  With the expansion of electronic forms of currency and communications, it is now easier than ever to send and receive money, and more vital to identify the difference between edgy playful fetishism and criminal exploitation. Class starts at 12:15PM and space is limited. Click HERE for event details.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS!!!

Saturday, September 10, 2022, 5pm-8pm
All Pilgrims Christian Church - 500 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102
The Entrance is through the courtyard on E Republican St. Look for the SEA-PAH Flags

The Seattle Pups and Handlers Board of Directors is calling a Special General Meeting of the Membership to review the results from the SEA-PAH By-Laws Amendment ballot, sent out to active members in good standing as of July 24th, 2022. The meeting will take place in person at All Pilgrims Christian Church, 500 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102. Entrance will be on E. Republican.

July 24th, 2022 the Board of Directors sent out a ballot of proposed by-law amendments to SEA-PAH’s current by-laws. These updates will bring some necessary changes that will allow SEA-PAH to continue to do things like hold meetings remotely and allow for updates where Washington State law requires. These changes will also better define the membership section of our by-laws. This is an area that has needed an update for clarity and we believe this will do just that. If you were an active member on July 24th, then you received a ballot at the email address listed on your SEAPAH.org account. We want your involvement. We need your involvement, and this means taking the time to vote on the proposed amendments and attending the Special Meeting. This only works if we are all involved in the process. One Love, One Pack.

This meeting will be to review the results of the of the By-Law Amendment ballot as a community and take any actions, if needed. You’re involvement is requested and wanted. More details about the meeting can be found at https://seapah.com/public/schedule/meetings/58c40c6c2653ee30

Important Announcements:

This past month, the Board of Directors lost two members who resigned. We would like to thank Sir J and Wolver for all of their hard work and dedication over these past few months. We wish them the best in their future endeavors. With both board members resigning, two positions became open on the Board. One position, which is serving out the remainder of Sir J’s term, would end in January 2023. The other position would be serving the remainder of Wolver’s term and would end in January of 2024. Per the bylaws, Article VI, Section E, Later Vacancies, “A vacancy in the Board of Directors which occurs later than three months after the annual meeting may be filled by a vote of a majority of those present at a meeting of the Board of Directors even if less than a quorum is present. Upon election to fill the vacancy, the Director shall serve for the unexpired term.” The Board has selected a community member to fill the remainder of Sir J’s term.

We would like to announce Pup Domino as our newest member of the Board of Directors. They will be serving until January 2023. The Board is seeking volunteers who would be interested in joining the board to fill in for Wolver’s term, ending in January 2024. If you would be interested in applying and interviewing with the Board, please fill out THIS FORM.
